LivSecure Monitoring Plans Explained
LivSecure is a sister company of My Alarm Center that lives under the larger company's umbrella. However, LivSecure's pricing plans are much more budget friendly and competitive than My Alarm Center.
LivSecure has a pricing structure that consists of three monitoring plans: LivEssential, LivEssential+, and LivPremier.
LivEssential, the entry-level monitoring plan offered by LivSecure, starts at $34.99 per month. The rate is similar to My Alarm Center's entry-level plan, but LivEssential offers more features. My Alarm Center's entry-level plan only offers security and life safety monitoring. LivEssential includes smartphone access, allowing you to control your security system from anywhere using your smartphone and their app platform.
LivEssential+, as the name suggests, is simply a buffed up version of LivEssential. For $44.99/month, the added feature is video monitoring, allowing you to add security cameras to your home and monitor them using the Total Home Control app offered by LivSecure. For reference, My Alarm Center has a similar plan called MyHome Premier, with rates starting at $59.99 per month. The huge price difference is most likely due to MyHome Premier's added home automation features.
The high-end plan offered by LivSecure is LivPremier. For $54.99/month, it gives you home automation features, letting you control and automate smart thermostats, locks, lights, and more. It also includes all the features offered by the two other monitoring plans.
LivSecure Equipment Cost
If you're seriously looking into setting up a security system from LivSecure, we have good news for you. LivSecure is self-installed, which means there are no installation fees. However, before you can set up a security system, you'll need a starter equipment package first.

With a 3-year contract, LivSecure will provide you a starter kit depending on your monitoring plan for only $99 with free shipping. If you sign a 1-year contract, the equipment cost will be higher and shipping charges may apply. However, you must be absolutely sure that you want to use LivSecure for at least three years, because if you're not, you could lose a lot of money. If you change your mind mid-contract, LivSecure reserves the right to charge you a hefty early termination fee, which is essentially equivalent to the amount you'll pay them in total if you continue the service. That's like paying for a service that you won't ever use.

LivSecure offers professionally monitored system that can reduce your chances of becoming a burglary victim.
